GTA Vice City Cheats Not Working? 7 Fixes to Try

If a Vice City cheat does nothing, the cause is almost always input, focus or version. Work through this list in order.

• Type the code with no spaces and without mistakes.
• Click into the game window so it receives keyboard input.
• Be in normal gameplay, not in a menu, mission cutscene or paused state.
• Some effects toggle: typing the same code again may turn it off.
• Check that you are playing the PC version when using PC codes.
• Disable overlays or background keyboard tools that may swallow key presses.
• Reinstall or repair your game files if keyboard input behaves oddly in general.
